FAQ: Resellers and Certified Installers...

How do I access the reseller-only area?
   You will need an account ID and password to access this area. Please contact your field rep at (813) 979-7097, (813) 910-1500 or (813) 969-9800 to obtain your account ID, password and URL for access. The reseller area includes access to online ordering/reordering, tier pricing structures, direct drop-shipping to clients, installation assistance, training documentation, sales flyers and promotional information.

Whats the difference between an authorized dealer, a reseller, and a certified installer?
   An authorized dealer sells our products through retail venues (store front, such as a motorcycle dealership), and enjoys standard wholesale terms (0 net 30), as well as drop-ship capabilities. A reseller sells our products directly to end-users via direct contact because of another trade or industry he/she is in (such as a boat mechanic), and prepurchases products at wholesale. A certified installer is responsible for the installation at the job site of our Motorcycle Anchor® products. Often a city or county will contain multiple Authorized Dealers, and one or two resellers, all sharing one or two Certified Installers. Generally, our Certified Installers are professional locksmiths, and our Certified Installers are bonded and insured to give you, our resellers and authorized dealers, peace of mind that your sales clients will be happy when you sell a product which includes professional installation at the client site.

Can we be both an authorized dealer, a reseller, and/or a certified installer?
   Most types of vendors can become an one-stop-shop capable of providing all of our products and services a client might desire. Note that if you are a motorcycle dealership, we will not, for open-competition reasons, guarantee you the sole certified installer position for the region (although you will be free to install all your own clients, clients specifically from sales via other motorcycle dealerships in your area will normally be serviced by an unaffiliated certified installer if available).

How do I become an authorized dealer?

All four can provided to us via mail or via fax at (813) 910-1500. Please contact one our field reps to arrange it.

How do I become an authorized reseller?
You will need to provide us with the following:
(A) Certified copy of your Sales Tax ID;
(B) Certified copy of your professional license;
(C) Certified signature on our reseller's contract;
(D) Prepay for five (5) or more of our Motorcycle Anchor® products initially (at tier 4 wholesale rates).
Please contact one our field reps to arrange it.

How do I become an certified installer?
   We are currently recruiting certified installers for various regions around North America, including the USA and Canada. For obvious reasons, we prefer to recruit locksmiths, who by default meet all the requirements (bonded, insured). Certified Installers are responsible for a specific region, and the size of that region depends on the population density (often one to four counties constitutes a region, and there may be some overlap between multiple installers to ensure uninterrupted coverage to the final clients). To become a certified installer, you will need to fit certain requirements, including: having a field service vehicle, the appropriate tools, workman's comp, liability insurance or bonding, and availability to do installations at various times of the day, evenings and/or weekends (some flexibility in scheduling is permitted). Installations take an average of 10 minutes each with professional-grade tools. To become an certified installer for your region, please contact one of our field reps.
