First thing is to remove the signal generator cover.
Remove
the Allen screws and remove the cover - be careful of the
paper gasket.

The Factory 5 Degree Advancer does have a timing mark which i verified to be correct by reinstalling the stock signal generator. ( this is useful when it comes time to adjust the valves ) |
| With the cover off, use a 19mm wrench and a 6mm allen to remove the stock signal generator and install the new advancer. | |

The back of the advancer has a cut out that makes the installation of the part easy. |
| All that is left is replacing the cover - note the condition of the
gasket. ( i used a little gasket dressing on mine )
